BIOGRAPHY
Ivar Hansson Myklebust is a highly experienced maritime executive who joined OMP following a period as an independent consultant. He currently serves as Chair & CEO of Belships AS in addition to his position in OMP. He held the position as board chair of Gram Car Carriers ASA from inception until the sale of the company to MSC, and has previously served as both CEO and CFO of Höegh Autoliners, and CFO of D/S Norden. He has previously held board positions as chair of Havyard Ship Technology, director of the Norwegian Shipowner’s Mutual War Risk Insurance Association (DNK), Euro Marine Logistics NVand OMP Capital / Management. His background includes 12 years of credit, investment banking and financial restructuring experience from Nordea. He also has experience from Anders Wilhelmsen & Co and Pareto Securities. Mr. Myklebust holds a MSc degree and post-graduate studies from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH); and a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
